Over the past few months, H2HC’s work has pivoted to focus on investing in our Massachusetts community by: planning the virtual summit, issuing targeted grants, launching the competitive grant program in the fall, and supporting our community as we all identify our next steps to create a more just and equitable world. This work is a process—and in many ways, we began to deepen our public commitment to advancing health equity and social justice last year at the Hunger to Health Summit held at the Museum of Science in November 2019.
Reflecting upon that event—and the solutions presented then—feels nostalgic, but H2HC’s commitment to health equity and food security has not wavered in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic and movements for racial justice.
Please enjoy a detailed recap of the two-day event that was curated by H2HC Summit Design team members, and be sure to save the date for our upcoming October virtual summit held: October 5 at 5PM-6PM and October 6 from 9AM-12PM.
